  • 2012 Winter Discovery Lecture Series (January 7th – March 24th, 2012)

  • Art Gallery (April – October 2012)
    Mount Morris Dam hosts a community group of artists each month who exhibit their artwork in the Visitor Center. Visit soon to experience some very unique and creative work!

  • Doo-Wop at the Dam! (Sunday, May 27th, 2012)
    Come on down to the Mount Morris Dam for some 50’s style, family fun to kick-off the summer and commemorate the construction of the dam.  A great way to enjoy a beautiful Sunday with games, music, food and dancing!
    This event is free and open to the public, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Sehgahunda Trail Marathon & Relay (May 26th)
    This beautiful and challenging course follows the Letchworth Branch of the Finger Lakes Trail along the eastern rim of Letchworth gorge from Mount Morris Dam to Portageville. Registration required; for details visit: www.yellowjacketracing.com

  • 10th Annual Photographers Dream Day (Saturday, June 9th, 2012)
    A day at the Mount Morris Dam & Recreation area filled with photo seminars, photo walks, and interesting subjects create a photographers dream. Hosted by the Canyon Camera Club and the Genesee Valley Audubon Society.

  • Discover the Finger Lakes Trail!
    Are you new to hiking and the Finger Lakes Trail?  The Finger Lakes Trail Passport Hike system is a series of fun, easy hikes designed to introduce you to the Finger Lakes Trail.  The Finger Lakes Trail Hike #1, located at Mount Morris Dam, is a 1.8 mile round trip hike that starts at the Mount Morris Dam parking lot.  During this short, easy-going hike you will see spectacular views of the gorge and the Mount Morris Dam.  In addition to a fun and healthy activity, you can earn awards for taking hikes like this one along the Finger Lakes Trail Passport Hike system.  Finger Lakes Trail Passport Booklets are available at the Mount Morris Dam Visitor Center.
