Eight students from the Charter School for Applied Technologies were welcomed to the Buffalo District to take part in a Job Shadow Day where they talked to professionals, got to see first-hand what a career is really like, received advice on college majors and learn about the Corps of Engineers, March 15, 2013. The day, organized by the Equal Employment Opportunity office, ended with a lunch and learn with the Buffalo District EEO officer on jobs in the Federal government. Fields which the students shadowed included: economics, military, graphic arts, safety, security, biochemistry, law, and chemistry.
