Buffalo, NY – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District is pleased to announce the availability of the Proposed Plan for the Occidental Chemical Corporation Property at the Former Lake Ontario Ordnance Works Site, Niagara County, New York, and a fact sheet summarizing the document at http://www.lrb.usace.army.mil/Missions/HTRW/DERPFUDS/LakeOntarioOrdnanceWorks.aspx on the Buffalo District website.

The Corps of Engineers’ preferred alternative outlined in the proposed plan is Alternative 4: Excavation and Off-Site Disposal, to address contaminated soils at Area of Concern (AOC) 1 of the Occidental Chemical Corporation Property (OCCP).
