  • USACE Buffalo District substantially completes Stanford Run ecosystem restoration project

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District (USACE) substantially completed the Stanford Run ecosystem restoration project located within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) in Summit County, Ohio, in early January 2020. The Buffalo District restored nearly 1,200 feet of a small stream within CVNP named Stanford Run under the original Stanford Run Restoration Project contract awarded to Ryba Marine Construction Co. The District also awarded a second, follow-on contract to Armitage Architecture, P.C. at the end of September 2019 to continue restoration on the channel, which restored an additional 1,000 lineal feet.
  • USACE Buffalo District receives additional $91.3 million in FY20 Work Plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District has received $91,256,500 in the Fiscal Year 2020 Work Plan, to complete projects across the District’s area of responsibility. This is in addition to the $24,562,000 the District has already received in the Fiscal Year 2020 President’s Budget.
  • USACE Buffalo District receives $34.405 million in FY21 President’s Budget

    The President’s Budget for fiscal year 2021 released Monday includes more than $5.966 billion in discretionary funding for the Civil Works program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, with $34.405 million set aside for Buffalo District projects.

    The Springville Dam Ecosystem Restoration partnership will host a public information meeting Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Concord Town Hall Auditorium located at 86 Franklin Street, Springville, NY, from 6:30–8pm.
