The contract, awarded to Strock Enterprises LTD, is for construction of a trench-fill revetment, along approximately 800 feet of the creek’s left bank, parallel to the main sewer line. The revetment is constructed by first digging a ditch along the creek, filling it with a combination of steel mesh and rip rap, and then back filling and covering the ditch. As the shore erodes with time, the rip rap with fall into place and create a natural protected creek bank.
