A winter storm warning is in effect through 11 p.m. tonight for the northeastern portion of Ohio. Snow will continue across the northern area as a low pressure system moves across Ohio. Two to five inches of snow is expected this afternoon. Snow is expected to become mixed with or change to a period of sleet and freezing rain this evening.
After the storm departs, high pressure will build back in and temperatures will return to normal. On Friday and Saturday, another storm system will move in providing a chance of rain and snow.
The Maumee, Tiffin and St. Joseph’s Rivers in northwest Ohio remain under a flood warning although all these rivers are receding.
