St. Lawrence River Monthly Bulletin

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, in conjunction with Environment Canada, publishes a Monthly Water Levels Bulletin for the Saint Lawrence River. The bulletin is distributed free of charge each month from April through November. You may request a subscription to the bulletin by sending your name and address to the Buffalo District Water Control Section, 1776 Niagara Street, Buffalo, NY 14207.

To better serve the public, the Buffalo District has made the bulletin available via our Web server. The bulletin consists of graphs showing past, present, and predicted monthly mean water levels at the six locations shown in the map below and listed following the map. These graphs are labeled in French as well as English. If your browser supports tables, there is also a Table (Metric only) summarizing the information on the graphs (To convert to English units, divide metric value by 0.3048).

You can retrieve the graph for any location by using the "clickable" map below or by selecting from the list located directly below the map. Each graph is a 700x400, 85 kilobyte (approx.) GIF.

The data on the graphs and in the table are preliminary and subject to revision.
