USACE Buffalo District receives additional $30.52 million in FY18 Work Plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District announces additions to its fiscal year 2018 program based on the recently approved Work Plan.  

The Buffalo District's Work Plan increase of $30.52 million includes additional funding for the following: 




Presque Isle, PA

Sand Nourishment


Ashtabula Harbor, OH

Maintenance Dredging


Black Rock And Tonawanda Channel, NY

Engineering and Design, Chamber Resurfacing


Buffalo Harbor, NY

Repair, South Breakwater


Cleveland Harbor, OH

Maintenance Dredging, West Breakwater Repair and West Breakwater East End Section Repair


Huron Harbor, OH

Maintenance Dredging


Lorain Harbor, OH

Maintenance Dredging


Toledo Harbor, OH

Perform Sediment Analysis


Josyln Mfg. Site

Prepare the scope of work and award a sampling design contract for the remedial investigation


Niagara Falls Storage Site

Award the remedial investigation contract for Vicinity Property H-prime


Tonawanda Landfill

Prepare the scope of work and award the site remediation contract


Luckey Site

Provide additional funding for the site remediation contract to ensure continuity of remediation fieldwork
