Corps of Engineers to host public meeting regarding Buffalo River Section 204

Buffalo, NY -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Buffalo District will host a public information meeting Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Riverside Branch Library located at 820 Tonawanda St., Buffalo, NY 14207 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

 

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Buffalo River Section 204 Beneficial Use of Dredged Material for Ecosystem Restoration Project, detailed project report and environmental assessment, and study schedule.  A National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) scoping document has been prepared and is currently available for review and comment at: http://www.lrb.usace.army.mil/Missions/CivilWorks/PublicReviewDocuments.aspx.  The comment period for the document will end November 14, 2014.
